This year began with the high profile wedding of Bollywood actors Riteish Deshmukh & Genelia D'Souza and lasted with the normal wedding of Dirty films star Vidya Balan with UTV CEO Siddharth Roy Kapur. So we asked for your take on the best Bollywood bride this year.

The result surprised us! Vidya Balan won our online survey with 42.5% people voting in her favour. Total poll participants so far are 3022.
Coy bride Vidya was competing with Esha Deol (2.7% votes), Genelia D'Souza (26.2% votes), Kareena Kapoor (25.8%) and Lisa Ray (2.8%).
Vidya Balan married Siddharth Roy Kapur in a non-glamorous wedding sans any Bollywood celebrity with the exception of Rekha getting invited for her menehdi ceremony.
Vidya's wedding took place in South Indian and Punjabi traditions with minimum fuss and simplicity.
